Queer as Folk gets a Chinese twist in this comedy about a pair of Chinese-British friends navigating sex, love, night clubs and cross-dressing in London.

University friends Mel and Ash are making their own way through London's gay scene, bitching, drinking lychee martinis and having as much sex as possible. However, when Gavin, a closeted friend of theirs from their college days, dies suddenly after an illicit meeting in a toilet, their lives are thrown into sharp perspective.

With more on their mind than underground drag clubs, sex in public toilets and out-there beauty pageants, Mel and Ash are suddenly forced to engage in a journey of self-discovery and realise that there is more to life than the labels in their clothes and the crows' feet on their faces.
