An exploration of seedy Santa Monica Boulevard, starring Madonna video star Tony Ward as Monti, a hustler who becomes an object of obsession for Jurgen Anger (LaBruce).

As Jurgen pursues Monti around the Boulevard, the film explores the lives of other characters operating in the area, including a born-again C&W singer, an aging masochist, Ron Athey as mortician/snuff specialist and, most memorably, the hit-and-run victim and the amputee fetishist, who come together in a brief but tender scene.
