13 Year old Logan is a dreamer - softly spoken and isolated. He strikes up a mismatched friendship with the older and much cooler Rodeo Walker - on whom he has a crush. Their friendship only works when they are alone together taking walks deep in the forest. Deeply infatuated, Logan invents a new persona - Leah. Leah and Rodeo become close through whispered late-night phone conversations. Eventually Leah agrees to meet Rodeo face to face when it's Logan who must finally prove that he can ask for what he achingly wants so much.
