Three wannabe actresses 'drag' themselves up and around Hollywood trying to get work whilst living their dramatic lives. With all the leads and most of the extras played by men be prepared for a veritable drag-fest where the jokes are sooo bad they are funny.

Varla has just arrived in L.A. with dreams of becoming an actress and finds a room with gin-swilling Evie who's own acting career fell by the wayside years ago and the warm-hearted Coco who yearns for a child - with the doctor who carried out her abortion! When Varla finds success, Evie barely hides her resentment and things get worse when Varla falls for Evie's phallicly challenged son, Stevie.
