Howard Stangroom a.k.a. Will Morgan is most famous for the American Meat Men Comic book Collection. The stories in Prime Cuts run the gamut from gentle humour to hardcore, spiced with a bit of science fiction and naturally with a few invincible super heroes as well.

For the beter part of a decade, from the 1980's to the 1990's, the writer and artist team of Howard Strangroom & Stephen Lowther gained a following in Meatmen and gay comix by producing gay-themed comic stories with "Balls and Brains"

Their stories were sexy, humorous and thought-provoking, with a more inclusive range of ages and body types than the usual Beefcake and Twinks - through there were plenty of them too!

But by 1995, the team of Stangroom & Lowther pretty much vanished from the comics pages, until this collection.

Collecting their collaborations from Meatmen, Gay Comix, Buddies and elsewhere, the new compilation Prime Cuts offers a kaleidoscope of comic stories from the humorous to the hardcore in many qenres:Science-Fiction, Supernatural and slice-of-life, all delivered with an affectionately cynical viewpoint and lavishly-detailed artwork.
